In Peru, an archaeological discovery is made almost every month. Many of these findings occur during construction work (roads, buildings, etc.), as much of the Peruvian territory is filled with unexplored remains.
Very few are ever brought to light...
SATEL Perú S.A.C. is an engineering company based in Lima, specializing in the development of projects in sectors such as electric power, telecommunications, gas, renewable energy, and the environment. It is part of the international SATEL group, founded in 1988, and established its Peruvian branch in 2013, strengthening its presence in Latin America.
SATEL Perú has participated in various infrastructure projects, integrating sustainability practices and the protection of cultural heritage. For example, during the relocation of electrical networks in Chancay, their team identified a pre-Hispanic archaeological discovery, possibly linked to the Chancay culture—reaffirming their commitment to responsible development.
This discovery, located at Km 80 of the Panamericana Norte highway, in the district of Chancay, reminds us that the present and the past coexist in every infrastructure project, and that culture is a legacy that must be respected and shared.
This project seeks to shed light on that ongoing tension between progress and legacy.

Es el Perú se descubre cada mes un hallazgo arqueológico. Muchos descubrimientos se dan durante obras de construcción (carreteras, edificios, etc.), ya que gran parte del territorio peruano está lleno de vestigios aún no explorados.

Forma parte del grupo internacional SATEL, fundado en 1988, y estableció su filial en Perú en 2013, consolidando su presencia en América Latina.
SATEL Perú ha participado en diversos proyectos de infraestructura, integrando prácticas de sostenibilidad y protección del patrimonio cultural. Por ejemplo, durante la reubicación de redes eléctricas en Chancay, su equipo identificó un hallazgo arqueológico prehispánico, posiblemente vinculado a la cultura Chancay, reafirmando su compromiso con el desarrollo responsable.
Este hallazgo, ocurrido en el Km 80 de la Panamericana Norte, en el distrito de Chancay, nos recuerda que el presente y el pasado conviven en cada obra de infraestructura, y que la cultura es un legado que debe respetarse y difundirse.
Este proyecto busca visibilizar esa tensión entre progreso y legado.
